Stamping Gala Tease – Day Four

I’m beginning to think that I may need to wear protective gear when we go on the road later this week (I’m going to Grapevine, Texas – Karen & David are going to Syracuse, New York). That said, what we’ve planned for the Stamping Gala in our store must be pretty good, because the readership on this blog has gone up every day for the past three days. Still not up to the heights of the Chocolate Mint Cookie recipe post, though . . .

Here it comes – this is the tease for Day Four, Thursday, August 12 . . .

Stenciling with Polly Weed from Polly’s Pals ($25)
(Same Class as Wednesday – Showing Two More Pics from the Class Here)
In this class, you’ll be able to do gold leafing on top of your paste to make a fall card or a placecard that can be used for your fall dinners. We will be doing another glitter card with a brand new technique and a new stencil that hasn’t been released yet and a Christmas card showing you how to do the “Shadow” effect. Finally, we’ll be doing a birthday card with an unusual fold which will surprise you (at least it surprised Polly!). With this card, we’ll also be coloring the paste! Sign up at www.marcopaper.com or in the store.

peggy Peggy Demo Cuttlebug Plus peggymiti

4:00 - 5:30 p.m.
Free Demo with Peggy Gould
5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
Free MITI with Peggy Gould (Tattered Floral)
Peggy’s talented fingers and bubbling personality return to Marco’s with two projects. First, you’ll see the new Cuttlebug Plus embossing & diecutting folders, and then she’ll switch to a make it/take it with a Tim Holtz tattered floral card.

Since Friday and Saturday of the Stamping Gala are also convention days in Cincinnati, we’ll have a few things you can do before or after you go to the show (since our store is only 40 minutes from the Sharonville Convention Center). We’ll look at those tomorrow, and then wind it all up the following day with at everything we’ll be doing on Sunday after the show!
