Trying Hard Not to Imitate Mel Blanc . . .

Every time someone at the store mentions “Tweety Jill”, I can’t help myself – what keeps running through my head is “I taught I taw a Puddy Tat” from those Warner Bros. cartoons about Sylvester and the Tweety Bird.  So that has been running through my head a lot this week, as we head into the final three days of the 4th Annual Marco’s Paper Spring Spectacular in our retail store here in Dayton.

As I type this, Jill Haglund (aka Tweety Jill) is in the air between Atlanta and Dayton.  She will be in the store Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a class and a free demo each day, along with special unannounced activities and book signings and such.  Really neat stuff – make sure to stop by often and call ahead to register for classes and demos (937-433-7030).

Here are some images from a couple of Jill’s classes this weekend to whet your appetite . . .

  1. Hi Greg -

These classes and demos look wonderful! Too bad I'm in NY, otherwise I'd be there with bells on.

  2. I've mentioned before that you are cruel, cruel man! Torturing those of us who live to far away to attend all the fun and GREAT sales taking place! You'll never guess what I got in the mail, today. I got a flyer from you for the Lawrenceville Stamp and Paper Arts Festival. Yup, full of interesting info. There is only one small, slight problem. Today is April 29th, the Festival was Feb. 6 & 7th!!!! Now granted this was forwarded to my winter address, but still!!!!!! And to think I'm actually surprised if my bills don't get to me before they are past due!
I'm looking forward to some real sweet deals when the new web site launches! Still won't be as great as those in Dayton. Oh well,
    R/

  3. Wow, never thought I would wish I could go to Ohio so much, but you have all sorts of cool events and the conventions and stampers anonymous headquarters, and I think Michelle Zindorf's out that way, no? It just sounds like tons of fun :) Hope the classes/demos all go well!
