Jealousy in Canineland . . .

Ryan just stopped by at the mail center so I could meet my new grandpuppy – yes, he and Emily now have a dog to go with their three cats.

 

This is Anakin . . . and as my brother has already said, “The Force is strong with that one . . .”

Ryan went to my house first to introduce Anakin to Zoe.  Zoe is not happy – it is going to take a series of short visits for her to get used to this.  Even though Anakin is male, I told Ryan that in Zoe’s world it’s like her boy came home with another woman.  And Zoe is not all that comfortable around other dogs – she much prefers small children.

There will come a point where I will agree with her . . . but for now, I am much more comfortable that my children have a new dog – small children can come later.
